In association football, a playmaker is a player who controls the flow of the team's offensive play, and is often involved in passing moves which lead to goals, through their vision, technique, ball control, creativity, and passing ability.
Playmakers exist in every organization – in every team. We all know those people who have unique abilities to influence the direction of our teams. These are the people who excel in strategic thinking, or getting people on board, or making an idea come to life for others. They see two steps ahead and know how to position themselves and others to take advantage of opportunities.
Playmakers are integral to successful teams. Do you know who yours are? Are you making sure they are able to fully use their skills and abilities to orchestrate winning plays?
