Leave your shoes at the door

Studies have shown that when young children are allowed to go around their classrooms in their sock feet they behave better and obtain better grades than those who wear shoes. Why is a ‘shoeless’ environment so much better? The students feel more relaxed and at home.

The same principle can be applied to our work environments. When we make work feel more like home people become less stressed and can be more open. This leads to better collaboration, creativity, and productivity.

We know that there is no longer a work/home divide. We are not living to work or working to live, we are just living. Why not make it all feel like home? Kick off your shoes.
