Each of us has certain skills and tasks that we do best. Get to know yours and work to ensure your job description aligns with them. Seek out opportunities to leverage your strengths and continually look for chances to improve them.
Find your unique way of doing
Often, it’s not what we do, but how we do it, that sets us apart from others. What do people value about how you do your work? Are you reliable, enthusiastic, willing to take risks, creative or known for your accuracy? Like a craftsman, the process is integral to the end result. Find out what makes the way you do your work distinct and put it into all you do.
Understand how you contribute
If you didn’t show up tomorrow or next week, what would happen in your team or organization? What do you add that no one else can? Find your day-to-day mission and own it.
