MONTH 7: FOCUSING ON YOUR STRENGTHS
Evolution, Facebook and Muhammad Ali

When we feel like we are doing work that we both enjoy and are good at, then we bring our full commitment to our team. People who feel like they are using their strengths have higher levels of engagement. In this video, you will learn how to both identify your strengths and how to use them more regularly to increase the energy you bring to your team.

YOUR TAKEAWAY ASSIGNMENT

The first step to building a strength-based culture is to understand what your own strengths are and what you bring to the team. Fill in the worksheet below to uncover your own individual strengths.

MONTH 7: BEING STRENGTH ADVOCATES
Frogs, the Three Muskateers and guacamole

Knowing our own strengths and using them daily is a great start to increasing engagement levels in team members. When we can encourage people to recognize the strengths of one another and call on them when we can see how they would benefit the team, not only will we create better work, but we will create better interactions between team members because they will feel valued for what they enjoy doing the most. In this video, you will learn how to be a strength advocate within your team.

YOUR TAKEAWAY ASSIGNMENT

Your assigment will be to work with your team members to brainstorm ways you can be better strength advocates. Your facilitator will explain how to do this during your meeting.
