I'm Hannah Spicer (although some of you may know me as Hannah Gzik - ahh married life). I am the Owner of Build a Kick Ass Company - where leadership and team training come to life in a way that's both fun and impactful. The way it should be. I'm passionate about helping individuals, teams and organizations get unstuck, discover their strengths, create thriving cultures and really unlock that potential.
Here's a bit of my story:
I've worked in this industry since 2010, but I have spent my whole life fascinated with training and consulting. No surprise, as my Dad started his own business 40 years ago and was a well known keynote speaker, trainer, consultant and all-around enthusiastic guy. In 2005, he partnered up with an analytics and software development company. I was always planning (and felt I was meant) to one day carry the torch. Sadly, carrying that torch happened sooner than I had anticipated and not what we had always discussed together.
In November 2023, we lost my Dad/our CEO unexpectedly. And this is where my journey took a big turn. He built a successful training and consulting business over 40 years ago and had an amazing reputation with all who had the pleasure of meeting him. I knew this was my time to step up and carry on his legacy. And that's when Build a Kick Ass Company became mine -- literally, I purchased the business August 2024 and have been working hard to protect this gift he left with me.
And that's my commitment to my Dad and our clients. I will continue to offer products and services that truly make a difference.
I'm all about working in true partnership with my clients, and of course, laughing along the way. I listen intently to client feedback when I'm dreaming up the next product or service offering. It's why I recently launched a passion project called Hello Hannah Co, an area focused on personal growth and empowerment to take control of your 72 hours (@HelloHannahCo - you can find it on Facebook and Instagram)
When I'm not training leaders and teams, delivering Personality Dimensions workshops, facilitating coaching, or designing new programs, where can you find me? Likely all cozy reading on the couch, outdoors walking the dog, enjoying the river on the dock or boat, hanging out with my better half, or exploring new ways to grow through upskilling. I don't have a hobby, but I like reorganizing the house often (or so my husband tells me).
